Things To Do

We hope everyone can make the most of out their time in Carmel! Here are a few things we love to do that we highly recommend you check out:

Bixby Bridge and Big Sur
The famous Bixby Bridge (portrayed every other scene in HBO's Big Little Lies) is about half an hour south of Carmel down the 1 and is as beautiful as it is historical. It's on the way to Big Sur, about another half an hour south, and is a stunning portion of California's coastline. It is a must stop for amateur and professional photographers alike.

Toro Park
Point Lobos
Garland Ranch Regional Park

Pebble Beach
Spanish Bay

Pebble Beach
Quail Lodge

Wine Tasting
Carmel has lots of charming tasting rooms spread throughout the downtown that are conducive to planning your own personalized wine walk. Wrath Wines, Caraccioli Cellars, Scheid Vineyards Tasting Room and Albatross Ridge Tasting Room are great options, but you can't go wrong. Trio Carmel, on Dolores Street, is an amazing olive oil shop that also holds tastings. If you like spicy food, we highly suggest the Baklouti olive oil!
Carmel Valley, about 15 minutes down Carmel Valley Road from Carmel, is also an amazing place to escape, taste and relax. Bernardus Lodge & Spa is an incredible winery and hotel in Carmel Valley well worth a stop. We love Georis and Talbott in "downtown" Carmel Valley, and recommend Cowgirl Winery if you love pet chickens, fire pits and lassos!

Monterey Bay Aquarium
Check out the jellyfish and otters at the world renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium!
